Douglas County CASA’s annual benefit concert featuring the University of Kansas Wind Ensemble is planned for Friday, October 2, 2026. Guests will receive a gourmet picnic dinner provided by Evan Williams Catering to enjoy during the concert.
Our goal for 2025 is to raise $200,000 to support our work of best interest advocacy for children from Douglas County who have experienced abuse and neglect.
Winds Across the Prairie is sold out for 2026, but we look forward to this evening of beautiful music, gourmet food & gorgeous views every year. The concert takes place at a different picturesque, private setting each year and brings together the talented musicians of the KU Wind Ensemble with music-loving child advocacy sponsors and supporters.
